Review | Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Wood

Hi lovelies! What is up with the weather at the moment? Yesterday was all gorgeous sunshine and today it's dreary and grey and all I want to do is snuggle up in bed. Sadly university starts back today, so I have been forced into the outside world. In an attempt to inject some sunshine into my day I decided to photograph these shoes for you. They never fail to make me smile and I love wearing them in summer.

Thankfully it will soon be warm enough to wear them, as they don't get much love in the wintertime. Neon peep toes, light wood, and black tights sadly don't mix. These are the Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Wood in Neon Orange. One of JC's staple shoes they are always new designs of these being pumped out.

I picked mine up in the Dragonberry Stride closing down sale for a measly $60. I'm not sure as to availability now, as they were bought over a year ago, but eBay may prove your saviour.

These shoes are the same height as a pair of Litas, which I have talked about many a time on the blog. Surprisingly they are also just as comfy as a Lita, which I did not expect for a strappier style of shoe. The T-Bar design of the sandal gives you just enough ankle support in these to party well into the night. As someone who abhors shoe pain these are perfect, and they make your legs looks killer.

I can't wait to start wearing these again once the weather hots up. They look amazing with light denim cut-offs and a white, making for a comfy outfit for a night on the town. As a word of warning I do find that these run about a size large for me. That could be because they're open-toed,  but I did get these in a 7, and probably could have done with a 6.5. If you're able to I'd definitely recommend trying before you buy.

I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of staple heels or a pair of formal/prom shoes. These are one of JC's cheaper styles and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another pair.

What do you think of these statement shoes? Which neon shoe would you go for?

Jess xx
