Tourist Tee - Kathmandu, Nepal (gift), Amethyst chain - Corky Saint Clare, "Erin" in Farsi necklace - Gift, Other necklace - Gift, Belt - Thrifted, Ring - Thrifted, Black A-Line Skirt - Barkins, Black ELKA Sandals - Wittner, Basic White Socks - Bonds
If you asked friends of mine this OOTD could easily be classified as my most worn outfit of the month. I have a very limited wardrobe at the moment (travelling = limitations) and after piecing this together have done several repeats of it. What is new, however, are the cute sandals you see featured in the last photo. I found these beauties at Wittner's Direct Factory Outlet store at a fairly cheap price along with another pair of sandals - you'll see both properly unboxed in a few days.
The Kathmandu shirt is a gift from a friend's Nepalese adventure and was originally destined to be a sleep-only shirt. I've since discovered its versatility. Navy is such an easy colour to wear and I guess it does compliment my skin tone quite nicely.
Lets welcome back my favourite A-Line skirt. You've seen its hot pink twin in another OOTD (here) and it is definitely about time you saw the black one. I have plans to get this pattern made in every colour of the rainbow - it's just that simple and perfect.
My belt was found many moons ago either in an antique centre or op shop. It's so long ago I can't even remember. I think I paid about $7 for it - a massive bargain considering how much I wear it.
The paraphernalia around my neck is fairly basic for me. The shortest chain is my name written in Farsi (Persian) and was a gift from a close friend for my eighteenth birthday. I wear it and the next short chain 24/7 and only take them off when they might get damaged (ocean swimming mainly) - they hold very special significance to my life. The long chain has been featured on here before in a mini haul of neck candy - see here - and has since been a staple in my wardrobe. It's clean and simple yet the amethyst and shiny silver chain are still a bit of bling when I feel drab.
That's my outfit of the day (month). I hope you like it. If anyone in Brisbane knows of a good place that will make copies of clothes for a decent price, let me know!
