Shopping | Top 5 Online Stores

Hi lovelies! I thought I would do something useful with my addiction to online shopping and pass on some of the tricks I have learnt over the years. For the first instalment I thought I would give you a run down of my 5 favourite places to shop online.

DollsKill
If you look back on my previous outfit posts it's rare to not find something I bought through DollsKill. They stock many of the brands I love and their sales are killer. I also draw outfit inspiration from the excellent styling on the site.

The $20 shipping cost may be off putting, however my clothes always arrive in 4 days or less making it the most affordable express shipping I have come across. They also have a great social media team and I would highly recommend checking out their instagram.

NastyGal
Another store I've placed more than a few orders on is NastyGal. Again their selection of clothing and styling is impeccable. I also really enjoy the pieces designed by NastyGal. If you're feeling spendy they have a stunning vintage section.

Shipping is free worldwide for orders over the $150 mark and with their sales it is not hard to hit that target. In the past I have scored some fab deals on Jeffrey Campbell shoes through the site.

Urban Outfitters

Another site that seems to stock everything. I particularly enjoy Urban Outfitters for their selection of men and women's clothes. Many of my everyday pieces have been bought through UO. If you're in the market for Vans or Converse you can pick them up on here for half the Australian price. Their home ware selection also has a great range from bedding to wall hangings.

One thing I would advise giving a miss is the Urban Renewal line. As each piece is unique you never quite know what it will look like until you've unwrapped it. Shipping is also easy with all orders over $50 getting free shipping.

American Apparel

Unfortunately there is yet to be a physical American Apparel store in Brisbane, so all of my various pieces have been bought through their online store. The upside is you can get some great deals and the mailing list regularly sends you 30% discount codes.

The clothes ship from a Sydney based warehouse and usually arrive fairly quickly. And shipping is free once you reach $100. Always a bonus.

Asos
I don't think any online shopping list would be complete without a mention of Asos. It's the store that stocks it all. I can find it a little overwhelming at times, but if I'm after something specific I generally turn to Asos.

I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new here, but free worldwide shipping and a permanent 10% off for students is a winner in my books.

So there you have it my top five online stores. Let me know yours in the comments.
