Hi lovelies! Now that weather has finally cooled down I have been having a great time rediscovering the pieces that were too hot to face in the summer. When I initially purchased these leather shorts I barely took them off, and I am so glad to be able to wear them. They make for an essential staple piece for night and day.

Hi lovelies! This is a dress that I bought absolutely ages ago from DollsKill. Although I've worn it loads, it just never got around to being photographed. This is just such an easy dress to wear. It's completely sheer so for a bit of modesty I wear mine with a slip underneath.

It looks like summer has come early to Brisbane. Yesterday was the most perfect weather for wandering about doing nothing. Erin invited me over for tea and before the sun went down we made time for some outfit photos. Luckily for us Erin just happens to have this stunning backdrop in her backyard.

Hi lovelies! Have any of you noticed a pattern in my outfits? My love for beanies has reached new heights, especially as I haven't had my hair coloured in a while. Waking up for an 8am lecture on constitutional law doesn't have me in the best of moods in the morning and I can chuck a beanie on without having to spend any time putting together an outfit. The second photo is a fairly accurate portrayal of me pre-caffeine.

Hi lovelies! If you've been reading this corner of the interwebs for any length of time you may have figured out that I'm more of a shorts and t-shirt kind of girl. However every so often there is a dress that is too perfect to pass up. 

Like the vast majority of UNIF's releases this dress was love at first sight. It was also crazy pricey, but my patience paid off and I got it for a steal from Urban Outfitters. The tulle layers under the skirt give a really girly vibe to the dress. It's an unusual feeling for me, dressing girly, but every so often I like to remember my childhood love of dresses. I went through a stage of refusing to wear anything but dresses, even when going to the park. My how times change.

This is an outfit I wore last Thursday when I went out with friends. My disco pants have been affectionately dubbed my 'Sandy pants' by them and I love wearing them clubbing. I think they make the perfect outfit when you want to dress up but you don't want to be flashing a whole load of skin. 

The shirt I bought when I saw The Hives at the beginning of January at The Tivoli. This was the second time I've seen them and they are fantastic live. So high energy and interactive with the crowd, one of the best concerts I've been to in a while. 

The Litas are one of the first Jeffrey Campbells I ever bought and for me they were a no-brainer. Black leather, sky-high platform and spikes? Perfection. As mentioned in my Lita Grad unboxing (link here) I prefer my JCs in a 7.5. These are in a 7 but I feel they fit bigger than my other Litas. Looking at the reviews on Solestruck it would seem that most other people feel the same. Obviously these are heavier than an average Lita, but I find them just as comfortable to wear. And, touch wood, I haven't lost any of the spikes yet.
