OOTD | Neon Blonde

Hi lovelies! So the hot weather has well and truly arrived in Brisbane. I wore this outfit recently as it still gets a little chilly at night. I will miss wearing tights during the day but I am loving sitting in the botanical gardens writing this post in the sunshine. 

Even in summer I am a big fan of layering. I find the airconditioning at uni freezing most of the time so my plaid shirt is a great cover up that I can just tie round my waist when I leave the building. 

The t-shirt is another staple of mine from UNIF that is easy to throw on with everything. I have been very naughty recently with all the end-of-summer sales so there's lots more new UNIF pieces to share with you all. 

The skirt is by an Australian brand called Neon Blonde. I had been looking for a denim skirt in this style for ages and was so pleased when I stumbled across this one in the Urban Outfitters sale. Sadly it's no longer on the site, but for any Aussie readers a list of Neon Blonde stockists can be found here. 

I don't necessarily go out of my way to purchase from Australian designers, but finding a piece I love that comes from my home is always a bonus. I really recommend Neon Blonde as the quality on the skirt is fantastic. I may look into some jeans once winter rolls around again. 

I won't bore you all by blabbing on about my creepers yet again. It's safe to say that they are my staple uni shoes and I always come back to them even in summer. 

That's all from me today I am in the midst of writing a very dull constitutional law assignment and sadly I really ought to get back to it.
