Hi everyone! I haven't done one of these posts in a very long time. In truth my makeup does tend to be very similar a lot of the time. There's nothing wrong with knowing what works for you. Sometimes when you have ten minutes to slap on a face and dash out the door it pays to have products that you know will always look good.


This is my go to, a soft smokey eye and a berry lip. My skin has been ultra sensitive lately so I just kept to my usual base and kept things simple with a wash of bronzer all over. This one is by Smashbox and seems to be never ending. 

My eyes are a muddle of 3 eyeshadows all blended in with a Mac 217 Brush - the world's best brush for speedy eyeshadow. I can definitely see why Satin Taupe is Mac's best selling shade of eyeshadow. It makes for a super speedy smokey eye with not a lot of effort.

The lips are a soft berry shade. I think bright lips are the best thing when you're in a hurry, particularly a berry shade. Bring on winter and the return of dark lipstick I say.
